There is no “contact us for pricing” on this page. Every figure we charge is written below, and you can work out your own bill without talking to us first.
The five dollars is charged when an animal goes home. Never for a transfer, never for a return, never for an animal still waiting, and never per person on your team. This stays free, and we are not planning a version of this sentence with an exception in it.

An adoption site that is yours: your shelter hosted by SnoutWare, your branding, your story, and the search traffic that belongs to you. It is wired straight to your animal records, so nothing is re-typed and an adopted dog is never still listed.
Without it, every one of your animals is still publicly listed, browsable and adoptable in the cross-shelter search. An adopter can find them, share them and apply. What you do not have is a site of your own.

Shifts your volunteers claim themselves, recurring schedules, animal assignments, and hours that count themselves into a number you can put in a grant application.
Priced on how many volunteers are active. An active volunteer is one person who logged at least one hour in the last twelve months. People who applied but never came do not count. Volunteers who have stopped coming do not count. You are never billed for a name sitting in a list.
Take both and $5 comes off every month. It is a flat amount, not a percentage, so your bill stays a whole number and you can check it in your head.

Growing in July never changes July's bill. It never changes August's either. The step you are on when a period starts is the step you pay for the whole of it.
A month before every renewal we email you your volunteer count, the step it puts you on, what you will pay and the date. If nothing is changing, we tell you that too.
No lockout, no blocked sign-ups, no upgrade-to-continue. Take on two hundred volunteers in a month and every one of them can sign up and log hours the same day. You decide what to do about it at renewal, not before.
No contract, no year paid up front, no cancellation window to catch. You are billed for the month you are in, and the month you leave is the last one you pay for.
An adopter pays your fee straight into your own account. We take nothing out of it, not a cent, ever. Our five dollars is billed separately, on one invoice a month.
A donation added at checkout goes to you. We do not skim it, match it against anything, or count it toward what you owe us.
Collect money however you already do. There is no quota of payments you must route through us, no fee for routing them elsewhere, and nothing that gets switched off if you do.
Your records are yours as well. Pull your animals, donations, volunteer hours and Shelter Animals Count numbers to a spreadsheet any time you like, and ask us for the full file whenever you want it, including on the way out. Nobody asks why.
